Introduction

This is great on crackers, and also works as a sandwich filling.

Pickle relish can be used instead of the onion + sweetener.

Ingredients

    1 can Garbanzo Beans (rinsed well)
    3 Tbsp light mayo (to taste)
    1/3 Red Onion, minced
    1 Tbsp agave sweetener (or honey)
    1/4 tsp salt

Directions

It's important to rinse the garbanzo beans well in a strainer, then shake the water off.

Combine all items in a bowl and mash with a fork until it reaches the desired texture--- I like mine still a bit chunky.

Adjust seasonings as desired.
