Introduction

Handed down from grandma to mom to me.
Good, low fat, high protein, quick & easy!
Excellent with a hunk of 7grain bread.

Ingredients

    4t canola oil
    6 small onions (diced)
    3c (almost a 28oz tin) canned tomatoes
    6 3/4c (3-19oz cans) red Kidney Beans with
    juice.
    salt & pepper.

Directions

-Brown, stirring constantly, the cut up onions in the oil (we want them a dark brown)...so stir, as not to burn.
-add the beans, juice included
-Add the tomatoes, (squash with your hand) as you enter them into the pot. The juice too!
-Stir & cook a few min.
-Add the kidney beans (juice & all).
-Continue stirring for a bit as they heat through & flavors mingle.
-Season with salt & pepper.

Makes 8 generous cups
