Introduction
Preheat oven to 400, Preheat oven to 400,Number of Servings: 8
Ingredients

1/4 c dried cherries
1/4 c chopped pecans
1/8 t salt
1 t baking powder
1 t baking soda
2 T plus 2 t butter or margaringe
1 egg substitute, slightly beaten
1/2 c plain low fat yogurt
1/4 t grated lemon peel
sweetner equivalent to 6 t sugar
Directions
Place cherries and pecans in bowl and stir to
coat.
In another bowl mix remaining flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda.
Cut in Margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add egg, yogurt, lemon peel, and sweetner, mix well.
Add egg mixture to dry ingredients. Mix well
Divide into 8 portions. Place on a non stick baking sheet or one sprayed with non stick cooking spray.
flatten each ball to 1/2 inch. Bake 12-15 min until golden. Cool on rack. Serve warm
