Ingredients

    8 oz Ground beef, lean
    0.25 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    1 tsp Garlic
    0.5 cup, chopped Carrots, raw
    3 cup Spaghetti/Marinara Sauce (tomato sauce)
    1 cup Spaghetti, cooked without added salt (pasta)
    0.5 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated

Directions

Heat a large skillet over high heat. Stir in the beef, onion, garlic, and carrot. Cook and stir until the beef is crumbly, evenly browned, and no longer pink. Drain and discard any excess grease. Stir in the oregano, garlic powder, Bay leaves and salt and pepper. Add the tomatoes and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium low and continue to simmer for one hour. Cook pasta according to package instructions and drain. Stir noodles into sauce, and toss until pasta as well coated.
