Ingredients

    0.5 cup Bell peppers (Green, Red, Yellow, Orange) 1 cup, sliced Zucchini 2 tsp Cheese (Grated) - Parmesan Cheese - Kraft 100% 1 serving Onions, yellow, raw 1 oz. 2 tbsp Canola Oil 2 link, 4/lb Italian Sausage, pork .25 tsp Oregano, ground 1 clove Garlic 2 leaves Basil

Tips

This meal can be vegetarian by simply omitting the sausage. If fresh herbs are unavailable, dried herbs can be used.


Directions

+In a non-stick pan over medium heat, add canola oil until hot but not burning. Cut sausage into 1/4 to 1/2 in. coins. Sweet or hot sausage per preference. Cook until no longer pink. Add garlic to sausage and only cook until light brown. Do not let burn. Remove from pan, drain and set aside. Add all vegetables and herbs to pan drippings Cook approx. 5-7 minutes for a crunchy texture and for the flavors to blend. Return sausage to pan for additional minute then remove from pan and top with grated cheese. The cheese will melt slightly.
