Introduction

This sauce is yummy, and super easy to put together! This sauce is yummy, and super easy to put together!
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 Tbsp Olive oil
    4 cloves of garlic, minced
    1/2 cup onion, chopped rough
    2 15 oz cans of Tomato Sauce
    1 15 oz can of Petite Dice Tomatoes
    12 oz or so of very lean ground beef
    1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
    Dried oregano, thyme, pepper, and salt to taste!

Directions

Heat oil in pan, add garlic and stir for about 30 seconds, add onion, and stir until onions begin to soften.
Then add one can of the tomato sauce and the can of diced tomatoes. Add your dried spices and fresh mushrooms. After simmering for 1 hour to thicken, add the last can of tomato sauce and the ground beef (already cooked and then drained to reduce fat content)
1 serving is 1/2 cup of sauce.
