Ingredients

    16 oz Ground Beef (80/20 mix) 4 oz (112 g) / serving (by LIGHTSHIPBRU)
    6 serving Johnsonville Hot Italian Link Sausage - 1 link
    3 cup Tomatoes, red, ripe, canned, whole, no salt added
    4 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Red Ripe Tomatoes
    0.25 cup Tomato Paste
    2 serving Marscapone cheese / 1 oz (by NOOMEE2)
    1 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    5 clove Garlic
    3 tbsp Olive Oil
    2 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms, fresh
    3 tbsp Basil
    2 tsp Mint, dried (by DOOBRIE)
    1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (by TORI7HARRISON)
    4 dash Salt
    4 dash Pepper, black
    1 tsp Sugar - C&H Pure Cane Granulated White Sugar

Tips

Season each step of the recipe so it's evenly seasoned.


Directions

Heat up the olive oil... brown the beef and italian sausage (break into small pieces). Add onion and garlic and let them cook about 5 minutes, add the mushrooms and let them cook down a bit. Add tomato paste and mix it into the mixture well. Add the tomatoes (make sure they are crushed by hand 1st). Let everything come to a boil and reduce to a simmer for about 25 minutes. I season each step with the spices( basil, mint, pepper, crushed chilli flakes, salt). Add a tsp of sugar towards the end. Stir in the marscapone cheese at the end.
