Ingredients

    3.0 tbsp Molasses
    3.0 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour
    5.0 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
    1.75 stick Butter, salted
    1.5 cup, packed Brown Sugar
    2.25 cup Granulated Sugar
    1.2 cup Dairy, Milk - Whole - 1 cup
    1.0 tsp Salt
    0.5 tsp Baking Powder
    1.0 tbsp Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil

Directions

Cream 1.25 sticks of butter, 1 cup brown sugar, 2 cups sugar, and oil. Add eggs one at a time. Add 2 tbsp molasses and a dash of vanilla flavor. Mix dry ingredients. Add 1 cup milk and dry mix to mixture, alternating, beginning and ending with milk, mixing well between each addition. Back at 325 about an hour and 10 minutes Take the remaining butter, place in a sauce pan with remaining Brown sugar and granular sugar. Add remaining molasses, and milk. Stir over medium heat until thick and bubbly. Drizzle as desired over cake.
