Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    600 grams Sweet Corn, Fresh
    35 grams Flour, white
    30 grams Granulated Sugar
    2 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
    1 dash Salt
    1 cup Dairy, Milk - Whole - 1 cup

    To Cook: 8 pat (1" sq, 1/3" high) Butter, unsalted

Tips

Traditional costa rican sweet corn pancakes, can be served with almost any top like honey, maple syrup, jam or sour cream.
If you want them saltier, you can take off the sugar and add cheese instead, if you want them vegan use almond milk and substitute each egg with one mashed ripe banana.
Can also substitute an egg for 1/4 cup applesauce, or with one ground tbs flaxseed + 3 tbsp water.


Directions

Blend all ingredients together to form a batter.

For each chorreada, put 1 pat of butter on a 6in pan, medium heat, add batter and fry.

Cook 2-3 minutes each side


Serving Size: Makes about 8 chorreadas (6in - 125g each)
