Introduction

This is a keto bread recipe that kind of rises. Its taste and texture is similar to regular bread. This satisfies my bread craving and provides lots of fiber. Ingredients

    1.0 tsp Salt
2.0 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
    1.0 tsp Baking Powder
    5.0 large Egg white, fresh
10.0 serving Bob's Red Mill Almond Flour - per 1/4 Cup
10.0 tbsp Simple Truth Whole Psyllium Husk
0.33 tbsp Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar

Directions

1) Heat oven to 350°. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. 2) Whip egg whites to stiff, white peaks. Add vinegar. 3) While whipping eggs, mix dry ingredients together in a large bowl. 3) Combine egg white mixture to dry ingredients. 4) Add boiling water while beating with a hand mixer for 30 seconds. 5) Rub a little olive oil on hands, take 1/4 cup mixture and slightly flatten into 4" rounds on parchment paper. Repeat. Makes approximately 12 slices. 6) Bake on lowest oven rack for 50-60 minutes. It's done when the bottom sounds hollow when you tap it. 7) Let them cool before eating. Cutting in half like a bagel and toasting is my favorite way to make sandwiches, etc.

    Bad
Sorry about rating so low when I haven't tried it. I want to try it, but I don't understand the amount of almond flour to use. The directions say 10 servings? - 3/23/21
