Introduction

Bite size peanut-butter snacks. Bite size peanut-butter snacks.
Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    .5 cup Peanut Butter, smooth style, with salt
    1 oz Peanuts, dry-roasted
    0.33 cup Cranberries, dried, sweetened (craisins)
    24 tsp Splenda
    1 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
    1 tbsp Molasses
    1 cup Oats, Quaker (1 cup dry oats)
    1.5 tsp Baking Powder

Tips

While the recipe is diabetic friendly it still doesn't qualify as no sugar added since the tablespoon of molasses is quite high in sugar.


Directions

Cream together peanut butter, Splenda, and molasses. Beat in egg. Add oats and baking powder. (Opt. substitute 1/2 tsp baking soda.) Mix well. Add in optional chopped/crushed peanuts and dried fruit. Drop by tablespoon full onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 6-8 minutes.

Serving Size: Makes 20-24 bite size snacks
