Dice and throw everything into the Slow Cooker Dice and throw everything into the Slow Cooker
Number of Servings: 4


    250 g Lamb cubed
    1 cup Mushrooms quartered
    3 rashers Bacon Chopped
    1 cup of Potatoes diced
    1 cup Beef stock liquid
    1cup Water
    1 cup Red Wine
    Dash of Ginger, Garam Masala, Tumeric, Cinnamon
    8 Cloves
    1 tsp Curry powder


Dice it all up and throw into slow cooker on High for 3 hours and Low for 8 hours.

Serve with mashed pumpkin or Rice or just have on it's own.

    250g is 1/2 pound and yes a rasher is a piece of bacon more or less. - 6/21/12

    Regrettably, my family didn't care for it. It smelled lovely & I enjoyed the taste, but the sauce was extremely thin. I will continue to try & tweak this as I believe this recipe has a lot of potential. - 11/29/11

    Very Good
    I now know what I'm having for tea!!! That sounds lovely and I think even my non-eating veggies husband may eat it!!!.....I had to add that it was lovely now I have eaten it. I do think next time I will add less cloves though. - 10/3/08
