Ingredients

    Trader Joe's Flax Spaghetti
    Broccoli, fresh crowns, chopped
    Parmesan Cheese, grated
    Basil, 12 leaves
    Garlic, 2 clove, minced, roasted or crushed
    Olive Oil, Extra Virgin

Directions

Makes 3 servings

Get your pasta going (make sure to salt it). While it cooks, slice up your broccoli and steam it for two minutes in the microwave and set aside with the lid off. Crop or crush garlic. Julienne basil leaves by rolling them up like a cigar and slicing them lengthwise.

When pasta is done, drain and reserve a tbsp of the cooking liquid. Return to pan. Put broccoli and the rest of the ingredients in and mix well. Add salt and fresh pepper to taste. Serve immediately or let cool in a bowl before putting in the fridge (to keep the broccoli crisp).
