Introduction

Ingredients

    5 cups water
    4¼ oz (120g) dried burdock root
    11¼ oz (320g) diced turnip
    7 oz (200g) diced carrots
    7 oz (200g) diced potato
    2.8 oz (80g) diced onion
    5.6 oz (160g) pork strips
    2 cloves garlic
    0.5 tsp ground turmeric (to taste)
    4 g salt (to taste)
    1¼ tsp soy sauce (to taste)

Tips

As written the recipe calls for diced vegetables. Actually, they can be diced, sliced, chopped or however you like them. Same with pork strips.


Directions

Combine first 8 ingredients (through garlic) and simmer for 20 minutes.

Add turmeric, salt and soy sauce and serve.
