Ingredients

    1 lb Ground Beef (extra lean)
    5.0 cup cabbage raw, chopped
    0.5 cup Rice, white, long-grain, regular, raw, enriched, rinsed
    2.0 large (7-1/4" to 8-1/2" long) Carrots, raw, chopped
    2.0 cup, chopped Onions, raw, chopped
    5.0 cup Beef Broth - Swanson, low sodium
    2.0 clove Garlic minced
    1 - 14.5 ox can Fire Roasted Diced Tomato
    1 - 14.5 oz can Tomato Sauce
    1 T packed Brown Sugar
    2 T Ketsup
    1 T Lea & Perrins, Worcestershire Sauce
    1 leg bay leaf
    1.0 tsp Paprika
    0.5 tsp Thyme, ground
    Salt & Pepper to taste
    Parsley to garnish, optional

Directions

Brown and drain beef. Sautee onion until clear. Sweat garlic. Add all remaining ingredients, bring to boil the summer 30 minutes or until carrots an rice are tender.
