Ingredients

    8 tbsp Parmesan Cheese, shredded
    8 oz Mozzarella Cheese, part skim milk
    10 oz Barilla Mostaccioli (by DISHYBOY70)
    16 oz 90/10 Ground Beef Sirloin
    1 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    1 clove Garlic
    822 grams Stewed Tomatoes
    227 grams Tomato Sauce
    1 can (6 oz) Tomato Paste
    .5 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
    1 tsp Salt
    1 tsp Granulated Sugar
    .33 tbsp Basil
    .25 tsp Pepper, black
    1 tsp, crumbled Bay Leaf

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Cook pasta. In saucepan, cook beef and onion until done. Add garlic; cook 1 min and drain. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, salt, sugar, basil, and pepper. Add bay leaf and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for 30 minutes. Remove bay leaf; stir in pasta. Spoon half of meat mixture into 9x13 pan and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese; layer with remaining meat mixture. Top with Parmesan cheese. Cover and bake 30 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes.
