Introduction

This stroganoff is very good. It's lower in sodium then many recipes. I sprinkle a bit of parmesan onto my serving & yum! This stroganoff is very good. It's lower in sodium then many recipes. I sprinkle a bit of parmesan onto my serving & yum!

Ingredients

    8 oz barilla plus rotini (uncooked)
    1 lb 93% lean ground beef
    2 cups cooked mushrooms (about 4 cups raw)
    1 can Campells Healthy Request cream of mushroom soup
    1 cup fat free sour cream
    1 small onion chopped
    1 clove garlic minced

Directions

1. Boil water in 2 quart sauce pan & brown ground beef in a skillet & sautee mushrooms, onion & garlic
2. When water boils add pasta & cover, cook until desired tendernes is achieved.
3. When ground beef is browned add soup & mushrooms, turn down to low & heat through.
4. When pasta is cooked drain it, while draining pasta, add sour cream to hamburger mixture and stir thoroughly.
5. When pasta is drained add it to hamburger mixture, & heat through.

Makes 5 - 2 cup servings
