Ingredients
-
30 gram(s) Kikkoman Panko 100% Whole Wheat Crumbs (1/3 cup = 30g)
0.25 cup 4C Bread Crumbs ~ Panko, Plain (by COFFEYANGEL)
2 tsp Tone's Italian Seasoning Blend
1 tbsp Kerrygold (Pure Irish Butter)
11 oz Chicken Breast, raw, skinless & boneless
1 dash Salt
Tips
Since this was such a large chicken breast, even after cutting it in half, it was too much for us to eat. We cut them in half again after baking and saved the other half for lunch the following day.
Directions
Trim the fat from the chicken breast and slice in half horizontally, creating 2 servings approximately the same size.
Melt the butter in a large dish. In a separate dish, combine the bread crumbs and the seasonings.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Place foil on a flat baking pan.
Using one serving at a time, dip the chicken in the butter and turn to coat. Then lay the chicken in the bread crumb mixture and completely coat with crumbs. Place the coated chicken on the baking pan.
Bake the chicken breasts for about 25 minutes, or until lightly browned on top.
Serving Size: Makes 2 large servings
