Ingredients

    4 link Organic Basil & Cracked Black Pepper Smoked Chicken Sausage (by TSUNAMI1)
    5 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.) Potato, raw
    5 large (7-1/4" to 8-1/2" long) Carrots, raw
    2 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, raw
    4 cup Swanson Chicken Broth 99% Fat Free
    12 oz Guinness Draught Stout Beer
    3 tsp Mrs. Dash (R) Original Blend
    1lb Bacon, cooked and drained broken into pieces8 serving Bacon, John Morrell, Hardwood Smoked Bacon (2 slices/17g)

Tips

You don't have to use guinness you can add water or more broth. Adjust herbs and seasonings to your own taste


Directions

Cook bacon, drain on paper towels
reserve 1 tblsp bacon grease in pan and brown sausages.
Cut sausages into large sections
peel potatoes make thick slices
peel carrots cut into 2 inch sections
Rough Chop Onion
Add all to crock pot, or dutch oven.
Add 4 cups broth and 1 bottle Guinness beer
Season with herbs like thyme and rosemary and parsley
Cook on low all day in crock pot or simmer over med. heat in dutch oven on stove until potatoes and carrots are tender.
