Ingredients

Disney Recipe:
2 pounds (large) butternut squash
4 tb sugar
1 Tbl ginger ; (ground)
1 Tbl nutmeg ; (ground)
1 Tbl cinnamon ; (ground)
1 Tbl coriander ; (ground)
salt and pepper ; (to taste)
16 oz Water
16 oz heavy cream
16 oz milk
1 cube butter
Optional, to add a little heat and depth of savory flavor (beyond disney):
1 large red bell pepper, cut off stem, and coarsely chop
1 large onion, coarsely chopped
1-2 fresh jalapeno, cut off stem, no need to seed
1 cup peanut butter
1 Tbl turmeric
4 Tbl garlic powder
Directions
Slice stem off of squash, wash and put into crock pot, cook on high for 4 hours, dump squash into vitamix or high speed blender, skin, seeds and all. Add remaining ingredients and blend until completely smooth. Pour back into the crockpot and simmer on low for 2-4 hours.
