    1 tbsp Caraway Seed
0.50 head, large (about 7" dia) Cabbage, fresh
3 large (7-1/4" to 8-1/2" long) Carrots, raw
    1 cup, chopped Onions, raw

    32 oz Kirkland Chicken Stock
14 oz Hillshire Farm Turkey polska Kielbasa

Tips

Rutabaga (aka yellow turnip) is also nice in this dish. Before dieting we made this with traditional kielbasa instead of the turkey version. This dish is even better the next day!

Directions

Chop Bacon and render in heavy bottomed pot (cast iron is great). Remove and add kielbasa until browned. Add sliced carrots, chopped onions, Course chopped cabbage. Brown a bit then add sliced parsnips and diced turnips and the rest of the ingredients along with the cooked bacon. Simmer for at least an hour until vegetables are al dente.
