Ingredients
-
3 cup Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, enriched, calcium-fortified
3 tbsp Butter, salted
.25 ounce Yeast, bakers
.25 cup Granulated Sugar
1 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
Directions
Not included: 1 cup water and 1 1/4 cups salt
Follow bread machine instructions to load bread. Put on knead and first rise cycle. When done remove, knead for 2 minutes. On a oiled cookie sheet roll out into a rectangle covering bread sheet. Cut into 9 equal pieces, and roll each piece into a ball. Place back on pan and cover, let rise for 35 to 40 minutes in a warm place. I usually preheat oven to 175 F, turn off, leave oven light on, and put it in there uncovered. It tends to rise in about 20 minutes. Then I remove, cover, put on top of stove while oven is raised to 375. Bake uncovered about 17 minutes. If you wish to use as dinner rolls, cut into 15 pieces and bake for 15 minutes.
Serving Size: Makes 9 at about 215 calories, original recipe in Allrecipes is for 15 dinner rolls.
