Ingredients
-
0.12 tsp Pepper, black
0.25 cup, chopped Onions, raw
6 oz Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean
0.50 cup Progresso Bread Crumbs - Italian Style
1 serving 1 Large Brown Egg
2 tsp French's Spicy Brown Mustard (1 tsp)
1 serving One 10oz box frozen chopped spinach (plain)
.5 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Tips
Serve it on a big salad. Or on a bun or roll. If adding melted cheese, put cheese on the burgers about 1-2 minutes before cooking time is completed. I like to add grilled onions and or mushrooms on top of melted cheese. A better choice for a side is not French fries. Roasted Pumpkin Squash is my go to.
Directions
Defrost or cook (and cool) the frozen spinach and squeeze out ALL of the water. In a medium/large bowl, mix the spinach with all of the other ingredients. Press into two big thick patties. Cook stove top with the olive oil
In a non stick skillet or grill. Cook on medium high heat about 5 minutes each side until crispy brown, flip and cook the other side. Cut one burger in center to check that it’s through cooked before serving.
Serving Size: Makes 2 Giant size burgers. Condiments, other toppings, bun or bread not included.
