Ingredients

    4 medium avocados, mashed coarsely
    1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped
    1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves and small stems, finely chopped
    1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
    2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
    1/2 teaspoon salt (more or less to taste)

Tips

Be sure to leave the avocado slightly chunky


Directions

Mix all ingredients together. Refrigerate for several hours to meld flavors.

    Thanks - low calorie, healthy fat, and if you leave out the salt, really healthy. Good on toast with a sliced hard boiled egg.
