Introduction

A nice, quick Mediterranean-style breakfast that is comfortably filling without leaving you feeling laden down. A nice, quick Mediterranean-style breakfast that is comfortably filling without leaving you feeling laden down.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    2 tbsp Greek 2% yogurt (try the Voskos brand)
    1/3 c. blueberries
    1/2 small banana
    *Or what ever kind of fruit you choose

    1 medium slice of 9, or whole, grain bread
    1 tsp olive oil

Directions

Place the yogurt in a bowl, and add the blueberries and banana on top.
Toast the bread, and spread the olive oil on it (in lieu of butter or spread).

*While the olive oil is not as low in fat as, say, a margarine spread, its' fat content is mostly good fats known to lower cholesterol.
