Ingredients

    1 lbs turkey burger
    2 cups uncooked lentil
    2 tbs. lime juice
    1/4 cup fresh mint
    14 oz veggie broth
    2 cups water

Directions

Brown turkey burger

In crock pot layer:
browned burger
raw lentils (unsoaked)
lime juice mint
cover with water and broth

Cook for 8-9 hours

    Very Good
    I made a couple of alterations to this recipe, but was excited to use it as a base. I would never have thought to use the mint and lime. I also added carrots, onions, and a ton of garlic to the stewing process. I then topped my soup off with a fresh granny smith apple. SO GOOD. Thanks for the idea. - 4/9/08
