Ingredients

    2 lbs Butternut Squash, peeled, seeded, cut in
    1/2" slices.
    2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, sliced in
    1/2" slices
    8 tsps. Splenda no Cal.
    1 tbs Blackstrap Molasses
    2 tbs. Butter, unsalted, melted
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

Pre-heat oven to 350. Spray a 9x13 pan.
In a medium bowl toss the squash and apples.
drizzle on butter and toss well again. sprinkle with salt, toss. Place in baking pan. Mix rest of spices and speinkle over all. Cover tight and bake for 50 mins. Un-cover and test for doneness
baste a bit with drippings and continue to roast until fork tender, and glazed.

    I made this a little while ago but I just diced the squash and apples and left out the molasses. It was amazing! Will make it again! - 2/5/11

    Apples and butternut squash make a great combination, and using the sugar substitute reduced the calories without sacrificing taste. Thanks! - 2/3/10
