I crave egg nog in my coffee during the holidays. But what you buy at the store has too many carbs for my low carb diet. This recipe is easy to make and is much better than store bought. Ingredients

* 4 eggs separated into yolks and whites
* 1/3 cup splenda
* 1 pint cream
* 1 cup water
* 1 teaspoon vanilla
* 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
* 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
Whip the egg yolks until they lighten in color. Gradually add the splenda and beat until it is dissolved. Slowly add the cream, water, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and stir to combine.
In another bowl, whip egg whites into soft peaks.
Slowly add the yolk mixture to the eggwhites. Stir to combine. Chill and serve.
This does not reheat well in the microwave. It turns into custard (which is good on it's own accord). It can be added to hot drinks like coffee with no problem.

Won't get to try this until maybe tomorrow but THANK YOU for actually providing the nutritional info. I've been scouring online for a good recipe, but if there isn't any info, it's pretty well useless, isn't it?
