Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 cup Flour
    1 cup Whole wheat Flour
    1 tbsp baking powder
    1 tsp salt
    1 3/4 cups milk (I used 2%)
    1/3 cup applesauce unsweetened
    3 egg whites

Directions

mix all ingredients in a bowl. (can be down by hand)
Use 1/3 cup of batter to make each waffle following the directions of your waffle iron.
Makes 10 to 12 waffles. I could only get 10

    Best bagel recipe I have ever tried (and I have tried a lot) ! I used almond milk and my kitchenaid mixer to mix them for about 5 minutes and then followed the recipe . Yummy ;) - 12/19/14

    This is a great, very easy recipe! We added some flaxseed as well and the flavor even made my hubby happy. Only complaint is that they're not crispy, but still delicious! - 2/4/11
