Ingredients

    1 bag whole, fresh cranberries
    2 cups purified water
    1/3 cup agave nectar (or to taste)
    1/5 tsp ground cinnamon (or to taste)

Directions

Boil water and nectar. Add cranberries and cinnamon. Reduce heat and simmer until all cranberries have popped and the sauce starts to thicken, about 15-20 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature. Refrigerate until use.

    Wonderful idea to use agave nectar in cranberry sauce. I love it for my cafe lattes but I never thought of using it in canberries. Very natural , tasty choice. I sometimes add the juice and zest of an orange instead of water and the sauce is very flavorful.
