The trick is to work out the cooking times so that all the food is ready together:-
Prepare and cook the chicken as per the supplier's instructions (aprox 30 mins per lb plus 30 mins)
Peel the potatoes and cut into chunky pieces, par-boil them in slightly salt water for 5-10 minutes (depending on the size of the peices) when drained, shake gently in the pan to rough up the edges and tip into a roating dish containing enough sunflower oil to coat the bottom (preheated for 5-10 mins) Return the pan to the oven for 30-45 minutes, turn once during cooking.
Prepare the stuffing mix as per the maufacturer's instructions and turn into an oven dish. Cook for the recomended time (aprox 30 mins)
Prepeare the carrots (or other prefered vegetables) and steam for aprox 10 mins.
Prepare the peas as per the packet instructions.
Prepare the gravy as directed.
