Ingredients

*Ronzoni, Whole Wheat Penne Rigate, 2 cups
93% Lean Ground Beef, 1 lb
*Sauce, Prego Marinara Sauce, 2.5 cup
*Kraft Mozzarella Finely shredded Part Skim cheese, 1.5 cup
    Pepperoni, 20 slice (1-3/8" dia x 1/8" thick)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Boil the water for the pasta then add sea salt before adding pasta if you wish (not in calculations), boil until just al dente. Meanwhile, season, brown and drain ground beef and add marinara sauce and set aside. When pasta is ready, drain and mix sauce with pasta, pour into a large casserole dish and spread out to be level in dish. line top of mixture with pepperoni then top with mozzarella and place in oven for 20 minutes until cheese is melted and beginning to brown around the edges. Remove from the oven and cut into 8 equal size servings. I serve with homemade garlic toast, a nice green salad and some whole green beans. My kids love it!

    Good
My cheese on top didn't get melted well...might have been old. I seasoned the meat while browning it. The pepperoni added nice flavor. - 1/14/10
