Introduction

This is an easy dessert that is low-sugar and low-fat but very satisfying. Serve it hot or cold, it is very good with a little granola sprinkled on top for crunch. Ingredients

6 cups sliced apples (you can leave peels on if they are organic)
    1 cup whole cranberries
1 cup fresh or frozen blackberries
1 tablespoon agave nectar (can substitute honey or maple syrup)
    2 tablespoons cornstarch

Directions

Put all ingredients in a slow cooker and mix together well. Cook on high for 2-3 hours or on low for 4-6 hours, stirring occasionally. When it has cooked down to the consistency of chunky applesauce, it's ready. Serve hot or cold.
