Ingredients

    6 Yukon gold potatoes
    1/4 cup sunflower oil
    1 tsp sea salt
    1 tblsp black pepper
    1/4 cup water

Directions

Peel and cut the potatoes in small pieces.
Add sunflower oil to skillet on medium high.
Add peeled and cut yukon gold potatoes
Add 1/4 cup water
Place lid on skillet and cook on medium until tender tunring with spatula occassionally.
salt and pepper to taste.
Makes about 6 servings of 1 cup each.

    Somehow, I think the carb calculation on this is way off - potatoes have way more than 5 grams of carbs. But still, it's a basic recipe and I'll be cooking it soon, but adjusting the nutrition based on high carb count. - 8/21/09

    Incredible!
    My mom used to make these frequently but used Crisco instead and added sliced onions and they've always been a favorite. I make mine the same way but I'll switch to sunflower oil. Thanks for sharing. - 2/23/09
