Introduction

I got this from all recipes.com, but instead of using the oatmeal that recipe called for I replaced it with cereal I needed to use up- turns out, it's better for me this way. Ingredients

    1/2 cup white sugar
    1/2 cup honey
    1/2 cup peanut butter
    1-1/2 cups Fiber One cereal
    1-1/2 cups Corn Flakes

Directions

In a large sauce pan bring the sugar and honey to a boil over medium high heat. Only allow to boil for one minute (if you go too long the bars get too hard). Remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter until melted. Then add the cereals. Stir thoroughly to get all the cereal coated with the sugar/honey/peanut butter mixture. Press into a greased 8x8 pan. Allow to cool and cut into bars. Makes 9 bars.
