Ingredients

CRUST
2.25 cups of whole wheat self rising flour
.5 tsp salt
.66 cup milk
4 tbsp olive oil
SAUCE
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic(crushed)
1.33 cups drained canned tomatoes
1 tbsp tomato puree
.5 tsp sugar
TOPPING
5.5 oz mozzarella
.5 cup Cheddar (grated or shredded
Directions
For sauce: pour olive oil into a pan and heat gently fry the garlic for 1 min. stirring constantly. Add the tomatoes, tomato puree, and sugar and bring to the boil.
PIzza's
1. preheat oven to 400. sift the flour and salt into mixing bowl and then make a well in the center.
2. pour the milk and oil into the well. mix with a wooden spoon until the flour and liquids start to come together and form a soft dough
3. lightly dust a work top and your hands with flour. tip the dough out of the bowl and knead it for about 1 minute to form a smooth ball.
4. dust 2 baking sheets with flour. DIvide the dough into 4 smaller balls. using a roller pin, roll each piece into a 6 inch circle
5. place two bases on each baking sheet. top each base with 1-2 tablespoons of the tomato sauce
6. Using the back of a spoon, spread the tomato in an even layer almost to the edge of the base. Slice the mozzarella and add to the top of the sauce then top with cheddar cheese. bake for 10 minutes or until the base has risen and the top is golden.
