Introduction

low carb, great taste low carb, great taste
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    shred 6 cooked chicken breasts (no bones, no skin)
    add 4 cans swanson chicken broth (or two boxes)
    add Garlic to taste
    4 cans Great Northern Beans, drained and rinced (save 1/2 of a can and smash beans to thicken soup)
    green chili - diced, add one can

Directions

add all ingredients, bring to boil and let simmer for at least 30 minutes, the longer the better...will thicken the longer you let it simmer. Great for leftovers and with tortillas.

    I sauteed green pepper and onion then added the rest. oh, I also added rotel tomatoes and ff cream cheese just before serving. YUMMY!! - 2/4/09

    This does not seem to be healthy with the fat, sodium and high protein content. I will be reducing the chicken and beans to maybe 2 breast and 1 can of beans. I will use low sodium and had more spices so it tastes like chili. - 7/21/18

    Yum. Added sauteed onions at the beginning and red pepper after making it to heat it up a bit. - 11/4/12
