Ingredients

    Pie:
    1 Ready to bake regular pie crust.
    1 cup Splenda sugar
    3 tbsp corn starch
    3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
    7 medium apples, sliced

    Topping:
    11/4 cups quick cooking oatmeal
    1/2 cup all-purpose flour
    1/4 cup splenda brown sugar blend
    3/4 cup chopped walnuts
    1/2 cup butter, melted

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
2. Unroll pie crust and place into 9" pie plate.
3. Combine Splenda sugar, corn starch, cinnamon, nutmeg, in a large bowl; add apples tossing to coat. Spoon into crust.
4. Mix oatmeal, flour, brown sugar,walnuts,butter.
5. Top apples with oatmeal topping.
6. Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until golden brown.

    This recipe was very good. My husband did not know it was made with Splenda. He loved it. I gave the last piece to a neighbor that is diabetic so now I am making another one today at the request of my husband. - 10/9/09
