Number of Servings: 8


    1 Ready to bake regular pie crust.
    1 cup Splenda sugar
    3 tbsp corn starch
    3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
    7 medium apples, sliced

    11/4 cups quick cooking oatmeal
    1/2 cup all-purpose flour
    1/4 cup splenda brown sugar blend
    3/4 cup chopped walnuts
    1/2 cup butter, melted


1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
2. Unroll pie crust and place into 9" pie plate.
3. Combine Splenda sugar, corn starch, cinnamon, nutmeg, in a large bowl; add apples tossing to coat. Spoon into crust.
4. Mix oatmeal, flour, brown sugar,walnuts,butter.
5. Top apples with oatmeal topping.
6. Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until golden brown.

  • This recipe was very good. My husband did not know it was made with Splenda. He loved it. I gave the last piece to a neighbor that is diabetic so now I am making another one today at the request of my husband. - 10/9/09
