Ingredients

Sauce ingredients:
1) 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2) 1/2 tsp. ground pepper
3) 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
4) 1/4 tsp. hot sauce
5) 1 tsp. garlic powder

1 lb extra lean ground beef
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 ounce low-fat cheddar cheese cut into 4
Directions
Preheat your broiler broiler.
Combine the sauce ingredients.
Stir half of the mixture into beef and combine well.
Divide into 8 equal patties and place 1 piece of cheese (remember to divide the whole pieces into fourths) on 4 of the patties. T
op with remaining patties, pinching edges to seal.
Broil, turning once, until cooked through, brushing remaining sauce over burgers during the last 2 minutes of cooking time.

I make these quite often ... but I'm thinking the calorie count is a little bit off ... the "ingredients details" shows only 1 lb of ground beef, rather than the pound-and-a-half used here. Delicious burgers, though, and since we're skipping the bun, it's well within calorie allowances. :) - 2/11/09
