Introduction

Ingredients

    Gram Flour
    Oil
    Green chillies chopped
    Spring onions chopped
    Ginger-garlic paste
    Musturd seeds
    cumin seeds
    gram dal (channa dal)
    urad dal
    red chilli crumpled
    Salt

Directions

Chopp onions (spring onions would be great) and 2 green chillies and keep it aside.

Heat 1 Tbsp of oil in a utensil. add red chilli, cumin seeds (1 tspn), musturd seed (1 tsp), channa dal (1tspn) and urad dal (1 tspn).
Saute for a minute.

Then add ginger garlic paste (1 tspn). After few seconds, add chooped onions (or spring onions) and green chillies. Add a little salt (1/2 tspn). Close the lid of the utensil and saute for a minute.

Meanwhile, add 2 cups of water to one cup of gram flour and little salt (1 tspn) and keep it ready.

Once the onions look cooked, add this gram flour which is mixed with water. Wait for a minute till the flour is cooked.

Your recipe is ready and can be served with phulkas or chapati.

    Pretty accurate ingredients and measurements but from one cup flour, it would make 4 serving in my opinion. - 12/21/12
