Introduction
Couldn't justify spending the money on the pre-packaged 100 calorie snacks so I made a slightly modified version for my husband and I. I made a salty variety since we prefer to munch on chips instead of sweets. I have a digital food scale so the combo was very easy to make. Ingredients
-
Goldfish Baked Pretzels 1/5 of a serving
Teddy Grahams - Honey - 1/5 of a serving
Wheatables Original Golden Wheat - 1/5 of a serving
Premium Saltine Crackers (minis) - 1/5 of a serving
Cheese Nips - 1/5 of a serving
You can use any snacks of your choice, I just happened to have picked up the variety listed.
Directions
I went by the serving size listed on each box. Using my scale, I used the boxes' grams weight, but you can use the actual serving size (i.e. 17 crackers) if you prefer. Since most of my cartons listed the serving as 30 grams, I measured out 5 servings of 6 grams each. So when I used one entire serving of each variety, I had 5 snack bags for the week. I did this twice, once for my husband, and once for me. Each bag comes out to just over 130 calories. And a lot cheaper that what you pay for the pre-packaged ones in the stores.
