Ingredients

    3 egg whites
    1 tbsp chopped onion
    1 tbsp shredded cheddar or other kinds of cheese, low fat
    garlic powder to taste
    salt and pepper to taste
    some Mrs. Dash to taste (all seasonings may be substituted for others)
    1tbsp salsa of your choice-homemade is best and has less salt

Directions

serving size 1 small omelet
some ingredients can vary by personal preference. This is just a basic recipe to go by.
Separate 3 egg white from yolk. In a small bowl whip egg whites with a fork. Add seasoning to this mixture. Pour in pan and scramble on medium heat until whites are cooked. Turn burner off. Top with cheese(spread over top and put lid on pan to melt cheese) Once cheese is melted put on plate and spread salsa over top(if desired). Enjoy!!!!
