Ingredients

500g (1 1/4 lb) minced turkey breast
150g (5 oz) feta cheese, crumbled
100g (4 oz) Kalamata olives, pitted and sliced
1 dessertspoon dried oregano
freshly ground black pepper to taste
Serve on a burger bun (wholewheat for low GI)
Directions
Preheat the barbecue for medium high heat.
In a large bowl, combine turkey, feta cheese, olives, oregano and pepper. Mix together, and form into patties.
Lightly oil the cooking grate or rack. Place patties on the barbecue. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, turning halfway through.

I also added more seasoning. I have made these before and found them, when made per recipe, a bit bland. I added more oregano, garlic, and other seasonings. I also have added green olives--for more flavor. Try topping the burgers with Tzatziki sauce--Trader Joe's makes a great, low-cal version. - 3/8/11
