Ingredients

    2 links Jennie O Sweet Italian Turkey Sausage
    8 oz 4% Laura's Lean Ground Round
    1/4 cup finely chopped onion
    3 tsp minced garlic
    1/2 egg
    1/2 tsp olive oil
    3 tsp italian seasoning
    1 tsp garlic pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 425.
Heat olive oil in small skillet. Add garlic & onion & saute. Put onion & garlic in large bowl.
Remove casing from turkey sausage and put sausage into bowl with onion & garlic. Add ground round, egg & seasonings. Mix well.
Form about twelve meatballs, each about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Place meatballs in a non-stick 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 425 uncovered for about 25 minutes or until done.

Makes 12 meatballs (3 per serving)

    Incredible!
    My whole family loved it. It was the perfect amount of spice. We just had to add some spaghetti sauce. Next time I would put the meatballs on some type of rack so the fat can drain. But I will definately be making this recipe again. - 8/18/10
