Introduction

A great tasting smoothie packed full of flavor, protein and anti-oxidents. Can use different flavored protein powders to change the taste or values as you see fit. I get mine from GNC and the Acai from Whole Foods Stores. I freeze my bananas when they first start to turn so I can use them in my smoothies. Ingredients

    100% Whey Gold Standard (Banana Flavored), 1 Scoop
    1 medium sized Banana (frozen)
    1/3 cup Frozen Blueberries
    1 cup Orange Juice
    1 serving packet Sambazon Acai (Unsweetened)
    1/2 cup pineapple Fresh or frozen

Directions

1) Place all ingredients in blender or magic bullet

2) Blend until smooth and creamy. Note: extra water may be added the aid in thinning liquid if desired, without changing nutritional content)

    Great tip on the frozen banana! I froze mine for banana bread, but as silly as it sounds, I never thought to use the frozen banana in a smoothie. I will try this! :) - 4/26/09
