Ingredients
-
Fresh Asparagus, 15 spears, medium length.
1/2 cup of Water
1 Tsp Lemon Juice (Pure)
1 Tsp Salt
Directions
Wash asparagus in cool water and break off ends. Put asparagus and 1/2 cup of water into a sauce/frying pan and turn to high. Once water starts to boil decrease heat and cover with a lid. You can now add the lemon juice but if you want to be able to taste it wait about 5-10 minutes before adding it, same goes with the salt. Let cook for 10-15 minutes.
I like my asparagus pretty soft but if you want it crunchier, let it cook for about 5-10 minutes, instead of 10-15. You can also decrease the amount of water to get the same effect.
Enjoy!
