Introduction

This reminds me of lasagna more than pizza but it is tasty, somewhat healthy with a salad and fills the craving for something warm, cheesy and gooey. It is very filling with a nice big salad. You can use any toppings sauce you like, just make sure you have some sort of ground meat for the base. I like my veggies on top of the cheese so they retain their crispness. Ingredients

    12 oz. cooked ground buffalo
    20 Hormel pepperoni slices
1 cup favorite pasta sauce (I used Kroger brand chunky tomato)
I cup cleaned sliced baby portabella mushrooms
4 oz. or 1 cup of part skim shredded mozzerella cheese
    1/2 cup slicd green pepper
    1/2 cup sliced onion
    1 tablespoon sliced green olive

Directions

Preheat oven to 425.

While oven is preheating spray sides of cast iron skillet with oil to coat so cheese doesn't stick. Layer precooked ground buffalo in bottom of skillet. Add sliced pepperoni on top. Coever with 1 cup pasta sauce. Sprinkle on cheese. Place green olives, mushrooms, onion and peppers on top. Place in oven and bake until cheese is brown and sauce is bubbling. Enjoy.
