Introduction

Quick throw together Beef Hamburger Soup. Quick throw together Beef Hamburger Soup.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb lean Ground Beef
    1 Cup Onion, Chopped
    1 Cup Celery, Chopped/Diced
    1 Cup Mixed Vegetables
    1/2 Cup Frozen Corn
    2 Cups Tomatoes, Canned
    2 Cups Potatoes, Canned
    3 Cups Beef Broth
    1 Tbsp Parsley Flakes, Dried
    1 Bay leaf, whole
    1 tsp Garlic Powder
    Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions

Brown beef, then add onions. When soft, add other ingredients except salt & pepper. Bring everything to a boil, then simmered for 20 minutes or for as long as an hour.

Taste the soup & add the salt & pepper as needed.

I like to use organic ground beef & organic beef broth. I also like to throw in some red pepper flakes to give the soup a kick.

This soup tastes great after 20 minutes cooking, but tastes even better the next day. So, if you wanted, you cook this soup the night before. Then before heating, you can remove the film of fat, if any, to reduce the fat content even further.
