Great recipe if you have company or if you don't. A little high in calories, but servings are large and you can make two meals out of one cut it to 325 calories. Ingredients

    3 cups uncooked white rice
    Tomato Sauce, 15 oz. can
    Taco Seasoning Mix, 1 packet
    4 center cut pork chops
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp black pepper
    3 cups water
    2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded

Directions

Brown pork chops with salt and pepper. Place in bottom of casserole. Sprinkle rice over chops. Mix taco seasoning, water, and tomato sauce, and pour on top. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 1 hour. Remove and top with cheese. Return to oven for 15 minutes. Serves 4

    Very Good
    I halved everything except the chops, served with green beans/green chili & a dinner salad. Plenty to eat, & the calories were reasonable. - 6/1/09
