I use wine glasses for this and my glasses hold three flavors. Pick the flavor combinations you would like. Lemon, raspberry and lime are really good.
Make sure the drinks are icy cold.
Canned drinks seem to be more carbonated than bottles so use those if possible.
Set up 4 parfait glasses, wine glasses or the like.
Pick a jello flavor and pour into a bowl. Add 1 cup boiling water. Stir well until completely dissolved. Place in fridge for 10 minutes. Set a timer-you don't want this to set...just cool off to about room tempurature. Add 1 cup of the matching sparkling drink as shown below. Stir GENTLY (you want all the bubbles you can) and just enough to mix (about 4 seconds). Pour into glasses. Cover top with plastic wrap. Chill at least an hour. Rinse the bowl, spoon and measuring cup. Set aside for the next layer. Pick the next flavor and repeat the process pouring this flavor over the top of the last. Replace plastic wrap. When last layer has set remove plastic wrap and top with a dollop of sugar-free whipped topping.
Match up the following flavors:
Sugar free lemon jello with sugar free lemon-lime soda
Sugar free lime jello with sugar free lemon-lime soda
Sugar free cherry jello with club soda
Sugar free orange jello with sugar free Sunkist
Sugar free raspberry jello with sugar free Ginger Ale
Sugar free grape jello with club soda
You can also just use club soda for any flavor you would like.
These are the .3 oz boxes of jello.
Experiment with flavors you may have in your area.
You can also layer this in a medium size glass bowl. This may require a longer chill time to set up. That way you can add more flavors or double the amounts of flavors. Remember to cover it with plastic wrap. Make sure the layer is set before pouring the next layer on-though my friend said it did create an interesting look and tasted the same.
Have fun and enjoy!
